The Templars Gear Astrolabe Gen2 Admin Panel provides space for a smartphone, maps, or similarly sized navigation devices, mounting at chest level on a plate carrier.
The Admin Panel accommodates devices with dimensions of approximately 17 x 10 cm; these can be secured to the Astrolabe panel via hook-and-loop fasteners—even while still inside their protective cases (self-adhesive hook strips are included).
Both the front and back surfaces are lined with loop Velcro. The Admin Panel features a thin, lightweight polymer frame that runs around the entire perimeter, offering optimal protection for the devices housed within.
The panel is secured at the top by a retention flap and, when opened, is held at a 90-degree angle by means of a paracord tether. The front face features a 4x3 grid of laser-cut MOLLE slots, two of which are additionally lined with loop Velcro to allow for the attachment of patches.
